Nadaman
Ida finished taking her CFA so we've got a lot more spare time on our hands...
We decided to try Nadaman in TST...
1. Uni + Homemade Tofu: The tofu was amazing, it had a creamy/milky flavor and a mochi-like texture. I've never had tofu like this before, and combined with the sea urchin it made for an amazing dish. (Ida's favorite)2. Tuna Tataki
3. Smoked mackerel + Avocado + Daikon: From the picture it looks like a lot of mayo, but once you mixed everything together it was amazing. The best part was the smokiness of the mackerel. Delicious!
4. Spicy Tuna Roll: In Vancouver these are dime a dozen but in Hong Kong it's extremely hard to find places serving good/reasonably priced rolls. These were nothing special but we haven't had one in so long so it really hit the spot.
5. Miso + Eggplant: Baked eggplant with miso and sesame on top. We've had similar dishes before in Vancouver, but this was a particularly good version.
6. Grilled Smelt: Roe inside, pretty tasty.
